黒人の歴史 || ネルソン・マンデラの生涯

In this lesson, students will learn about South Africa's hero of peace, Nelson Mandela. Students will understand how Nelson Mandela fought to peacefully end the struggle for freedom and equality. We will discuss his early life, his life as an anti-apartheid activist and how he became South Africa's first black elected president. Students will learn how Nelson Mandela was able to get rid of the white oppression forced upon Black South Africans. They will learn about the Apartheid system and how it negatively affected all NON--Europeans in South Africa. Students will know that although Mandela was attacked and even incarcerated for 27 years for his activism, he still bravely stood up and fought to make life better for the people in his country. 


 This class will be very informative and it also connects to my other African American classes. This lesson will be interactive, and each student will have an opportunity to share their thoughts and opinions. Participation is encouraged but not required. If you have any questions about the class or suggestions please send a message.  This class could possibly go over 30 minutes, I think its important to give each student the opportunity to speak and ask questions.
