In this semester long class we will cover the study of the human body by looking at its systems, diseases, cells, and then we will study plants. Please refer to the syllabus for a week to week topic list. Learners will interact with myself and their classmates during class in discussions of activities, experiments, videos and lessons. Each class will last 55 minutes and students will be given activities to do outside of class for extra learning opportunities. I teach from a discovery and hands-on approach as much as possible. I also teach knowing all students can learn if properly motivated and given interest based activities. Some parent interaction is appreciated and no prior knowledge is needed.
