芸術鑑賞：ゴッホ（8～13歳）

Students will learn about Vincent Van Gogh, through a brief overview of his timeline, paintings, technique, struggles, inventiveness and the perseverance he faced. There will be prints examined while discussing the Post Impressionist era during Van Gogh's life.  The teacher will be open to any questions about Van Gogh after the lesson is presented via video chat and via email after the course. 
     The class will be structured with a 20-30 minute presentation about van Gogh. Pause for a 10-minute break for questions. In the remainder 30 minutes, the teacher will model Van Gogh's technique and give direction and guidance for students to explore the elements of art: line, color, movement using their observation, and imagination while studying Van Gogh's "Starry Night."  The teacher will model these elements of design as students draw along with encouragement given or pause and draw at their own leisure.
