週1時間. Students will have the flexibility to complete each of the projects over nine weeks.テスト
In order to obtain credit for having completed the course, they should post at least one photo per lesson project. Mrs. G. will review each posted project. For those students who post photos of their work for each of the nine assignment, Mrs. G. will sign a completion certificate (pdf). Mrs. G. encourages students to do one project each week, but with this Flex class environment, a student could do all nine projects in the last week and still receive credit/a certificate for the course.この文章は自動翻訳されています

This course will follow a “flexible schedule” and has NO LIVE MEETINGS. This format works well since students live across many different time zones. It is fun to see "structures" work from students from around the world:). This flexible schedule allows students to work at any time for the duration of the course. The teacher can always be reached via email and through the Outschool classroom. Weekly Flex Class Format: NEW CONTENT: Every Monday for nine weeks the teacher will provide students a new video lesson, a new building challenge and a project demonstration. DISCUSSION PROMPT: On Wednesdays, the teacher will provide a weekly discussion prompt (or extra architectural activity). Students will be encourage to respond in the forum, which is moderated by the instructor. Students may respond by writing or posting photos. INTERACTION: Throughout the week, students will also be encouraged to post photos of the progress of their projects and their other building or architectural art projects (Legos or Minecraft etc..:) for encouraging comments from the teacher and each other. Which of your projects this week is your favorite? Which of the other students projects is your favorite? Why? Did you like the project? Did you "eat" your project? How long did you work on your project? Sometimes students will share their own favorite architectural resources. Throughout the course, be on the look out for links for supplemental videos and architectural information posted by the teacher. COMPLETE ASSIGNMENT: Each week, students spend time completing their assigned architecture project. SUBMIT ASSIGNMENT: Students post photos of their completed architecture project in the classroom on the designated post. FEEDBACK: The teacher will review student work before each new lesson is revealed on Monday mornings. She will answer questions and respond to student posts throughout the week. For those students who post photos of their work for each of the nine assignment, Mrs. G. will email a completion certificate. Students will learn to create cool structures with typically household items (and Food:) while they learn the basic elements of architectural design through weekly design challenges. Lesson 1 - Points - This lesson may have already been completed If your student took the Architecture Rocks - Lesson 1 one time class. Lesson 2 - Lines Lesson 3 - Planes Lesson 4 - Volumes Lesson 5 - Plans and Sections Lesson 6 - Shape Creations Lesson 7 - Wood Structures Lesson 8 - Food Structures Lesson 9 - Bring It All Together :). Project based assignments are meant to encourage students to embrace their creativity by building structures. (There are no "wrong" answers, but there are a lot of really FUN solutions:). • This curriculum was created by Building Brilliant Minds Online School of the Arts.

Parents should be aware that students will be encouraged to use basic art materials and tools such as scissors, glue, toothpicks, string, straws and paper clips as well as a choice of materials. (Younger students might need help cutting or glueing.)
Students will need to have a way to take and post photos of their work.
Parents should be aware that some of our structures are made with food items. If your student has an allergies, please find the equal alternative or ask for suggestions.
