This class is to be in-depth and will be focused on the overall study of the horse. During class, I love to show students real-life experiences and have them become involved in their learning. Learners will participate in discussions throughout class, watch videos, analyze photos, and will sometimes be asked to sketch or color during class to aid learning. We will go over terminology, colors, breeds, diseases, soundness, anatomy, nutrition, dental, veterinary, behavior, horse judging, disciplines, foaling, and equipment. Equine experience is beneficial but not required in this course as we will start at a foundational level and work our way through more advanced material.
