I have been teaching in public schools in Missouri and Colorado and have taught on Outschool for a couple of years now. A Wrinkle in Time is something that I have taught to many students before in Socratic Seminar format and as part of a novel study. In addition, I have taught the novel in the following class that parents are encouraged to look at to see how my classes are run to understand the format and setting of the class!

宿題が提供されます
Students will be asked to read outside of class as we will not have time in class to read together. In addition, students might need to complete an activity that we start in class if we run out of time to complete it.
授業以外に週あたり 1 - 2 時間の学習が期待されます
評価が提供されます
I can provide writing prompts and essay prompts to parents who request them for their students. I upload them to the students as the reader goes along so that their writing is paired with the reader that they accomplish in class.
成績が提供されます
Students are asked to purchase the novel to participate in class and to have the novel in class every single day so that we can reference it together!
Here is the CommonSenseMedia for A Wrinkle in Time. Students are encouraged to reach out to their parents and to the teacher to discuss topics that they might struggle with. We will be discussing religion and science in this class as major elements of the story and character development. We will be open and honest and I will be there to guide student conversations through every step. If you have specific questions, please feel free to reach out to me to talk!
