このクラスで学べること
I will be drawing right alongside learners in real time as they learn to draw what interests them most! I will be sharing my screen as I take the student through, step by step, how to draw things they are passionate about, or things that they struggle with. No experience is required and beginners are welcome! I am happy to work with experienced learners who could use a bit of focused help, or beginners who would like to learn how to draw for the first time! I will repeatedly look at the learner's work in order to critique their work in real time in order to help them improve rapidly.

Students will learn various significant topics in drawing such as proportion, perspective, posing, facial expressions, how to draw hands, how to draw hair, lighting, coloring, and overall appeal! Sessions will be somewhat student driven as we determine what the learner likes to draw best, and focus on their interests from session to session.

No scary or inappropriate content will be viewed during class time. We will frequently find references for the things we want to draw or paint, but I will determine the references ahead of the student's seeing them to determine they are appropriate.
受講に必要なもの
Pencil and paper will be all that is required, but digital drawing and painting software is also welcome! Krita, Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, Photoshop, Medibang Paint, Sketchbook Pro- all are welcome!

Hiya! I'm Stacy! I love all things art and animation! I'm a huge cartoon and anime fan, and love to share my passion with my students!
I have been teaching drawing, digital painting, and animation online since 2020, and have had over 50 long-term private students! I have also been a freelance artist and animator since graduating with my Master's in Medical Art in 2019.
One of my most important values in teaching is to build students' confidence in themselves. Especially in art, people can be so hard on themselves! I will always encourage my students to do their best, and allow themselves some grace when trying something new for the first time. Self-confidence and self-love is important! That's why I take extra special care to pay attention to the way we talk to ourselves in class. We encourage each other and take pride in the things we succeed in!
