Zookeeper Training Course BIG CAT EDITION (ages 5-10)
This course includes all of the fun students have in the Zookeeper Training class, with a specific focus on keepers who work with big cats. During this class, students will learn what a typical day in the life of a big cat zookeeper is like. We will discuss what each of the big cats is fed each day, the responsibilities the zookeeper has for caring and maintaining a safe and clean environment for the cats and how zookeepers educate visitors about the creatures and their natural habitats. During the class, students will be educated on each of the big cats, their eating requirements, natural habitats and interesting facts about each species. This course includes pictures, videos and live visits to zoos and sanctuaries to see some big cats.

Hello there!
I love teaching students of all ages! I have over 20 years experience teaching students ranging in age from 4 to college level students. I strive to create a fun and engaging classroom where each student is eager to learn and participate. My mission is to make learning enjoyable and memorable. 

My areas of expertise are communications and public speaking, but I love teaching science and animal related courses and helping students work on their reading skills. I currently travel around the country doing test prep classes for high school students.

I also have a passion for teaching younger students how to read. I have my ESL certification, a BS in Communications from the University of Tennessee and a MA in Business Management from Tusculum University.

I live in beautiful East Tennessee with my husband Chris, one bunny, three golden doodles and a yorkie!
