In this once a week class, I will create a reading learning plan specifically designed for your student’s needs. Your child will be the only student in this class and we will focus on exactly what your student needs to improve upon in order to be a more fluent reader.

Students can begin and stop this course at anytime.

We will do a reading skills test during our first class meeting to develop the best reading plan for your child. This class will allow the student an opportunity to practice reading, improve reading and I will also offer positive feedback to help with progression.

Lessons will include games, letter sounds practice, read along and reading comprehension questions to check reading for understanding.

A few of the areas we will focus on include:
High frequency words
Phonological and phonemic awareness
Letter-Sound Correspondence
Word Dictation
Reading Comprehension
