In this class we will be reading Book 1 of the Wings of Fire series: The Dragonet Prophecy. For each weekly class over the course of 6 weeks, students will be assigned 6-7 chapters to read prior to each class. In class we will discuss the events and our thoughts over the assigned chapters. Our discussions will be guided by pre-selected discussion questions and all students will be given many opportunities to participate with their peers throughout each lesson. Although each class will be guided by pre-selected discussion questions, students will also be given the opportunity to expand upon their thoughts about the weekly assigned chapters beyond these questions. Students do not need any prior knowledge of this series before starting this course, each student will be required to purchase their own copy of the book in order to complete the reading assignments and participate in the weekly discussions.

Week 1: Prologue and Chapters 1-5 
Week 2: Chapters 6-11
Week 3: Chapters 12-17
Week 4: Chapters 18-23
Week 5: Chapters 24-29
Week 6: Chapters 30-35 and Epilogue
