The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo is the story of Edward Tulane, a china rabbit who becomes lost from the little girl who loves him. This heart-warming story of being lost and found again will quickly draw your child in and become one of their favorite stories. During this 5-week course, learners will be asked to read 6 short chapters weekly and complete the week’s assigned activity that I will post each week in the classroom. During our sessions, the teacher will help learners dive a little deeper into our story by leading them through discussions and activities related to the chapters read. Learners will also share their responses from the week's assigned activity. This book club is a great opportunity for your child to sharpen their reading comprehension skills, make inferences, gain insight from others’ perspectives, and have a fun time reading an unforgettable story. Class is appropriate for (𝐂𝐄𝐅𝐑: A2, B1, B2, C1, C2) *Please do not read ahead of our schedule so that we can all enjoy the story together. *This story does deal with some sadness, grief, and unkindness.

The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane is one of my favorite books. I read this story every year to my students when I taught in the classroom. Each year we would laugh and cry together as we would go on a journey with Edward. It would be my pleasure to share Edward’s journey with your child.
