Travel with me to ancient Greece to learn about how the people from that time celebrated victory. Sporting competitions were serious events as they were recorded since 776 BCE. Temples were erected, statues were created, and large ceremonial vases to hold vast quantities of olive oil were produced in preparation and following these spectacles. My classes are relaxed experiences, where learners are welcome to ask questions and make comments as we learn together. Following a stimulating lesson about our class topic, students are invited to create a masterpiece with me! Follow me step by step as I create a work of art based on our art historical focus , or branch out to produce an entirely individual creation inspired by our discussion. Children are welcome to share their artwork with the class (not required). Some students who work at a slower pace may not fully complete their masterpiece in the time permitted for this class and will want to finalize their piece after the live video has ended. This is perfectly normal!
