Younger students will learn all about tigers through interactive and creative learning methods. Students will learn about tigers, their habitat, eating habits and family life. A focus will be on conservation. Students will be delve into video, handouts, creative options and multimedia presentations that are all guided by the teacher. At the end students will quickly learn to draw a baby tiger!

Students will learn all about tigers including the anatomy, feeding, behavior, habitat and tiger family life both in the wild and also in tiger refuges and zoos. Conservation is stressed throughout the course.

We will discuss prey and predators and discuss how Tigers eat.
We will also discuss the problem of tiger captivity and habitat loss.
Both of these subjects may be sensitive to younger learners.

I've worked with animals all of my life and currently house over 32 animals on my property. I've cared for abused tigers who were offloaded from a circus and maintain a close relationship with the rehabilitation and refuge of other animals at my local zoo and animal refuge center.
