In this class, the learner will start the class with an introduction of me the teacher.  The class will then participate in a brief ice breaker activity.  This activity will ease any nervousness because everyone will interact and get to know one another.  Then I will go into a learner-centered lesson.  This lesson will be interactive with all students.  However, if the student is shy and does not want to answer questions, that is fine.  Participation is suggested but not required.  My goal is to make all the students feel comfortable and safe in this online learning environment.  
 
Upon completion of this lesson, the learner will be able to confidently define and discuss the stages of the water cycle.  

Learners can feel confident knowing that they can ask a question anytime during the class.
