Merry Christmas and welcome to my class on the history of Christmas. 
In this one-time class, learners will be taught a brief history of where Christmas originated from.
The lesson will be constructed into fun PowerPoint slides, in which students can take turns reading and asking questions.  Students will be asked questions individually and as a group allowing a few minutes for each student to respond and share their opinion. We can openly discuss what we already know about Christmas and students can ask me any questions that they may want to ask. 
I will cover the origins of Christmas, and why we all celebrate Christmas with a Christmas tree. 
I am a fun enthusiastic teacher who loves to make my lessons enjoyable and all I ask is that you respect everyone in the class. 
Learners needn't have any previous knowledge or understanding of the subject.
