My tutoring sessions are one on one session tailored to your student's specific needs and learning style. The one-on-one tutoring sessions ensure that your student receives focused attention and support. They'll have the opportunity to ask questions, seek clarification, and receive personalized feedback to help them overcome any challenges they may encounter. 

When beginning to work with a student I start by assessing their current knowledge and areas of difficulty, and then create a customized plan to address those challenges effectively taking into consideration their objectives and goals for tutoring.

I understand that statistics can be complex, so concepts are we'll broken down into easy-to-understand explanations. I use real-world examples and interactive activities to help grasp statistical principles and apply them to practical situations.

My service is committed to empowering your student with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in statistics. Whether they are just starting they're statistics journey or need assistance with advanced topics, I'm here to guide your student every step of the way. As a college professor specializing in statistics, I bring a wealth of expertise and a passion for teaching to assist high school students in mastering this essential subject.  I understand statistics is a subject that may not be well liked or students may feel scared. With a strong academic background and experience in statistical research, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive and effective tutoring to help students succeed in their statistics courses. 

I hold a PhD in Measurement and Statistics from The University of Iowa, a master's in both public health and law, and a bachelors in psychology. Beyond my formal education, I have hands-on experience applying statistical concepts in various research projects and real-world scenarios. I have worked on research teams, collaborating with professionals from different disciplines, where I leveraged my statistical expertise to analyze and interpret data. This practical experience has honed my ability to explain complex statistical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.

Understanding the unique needs of high school students, I adapt my tutoring methods to ensure effective learning. I am skilled at breaking down complex statistical concepts into digestible pieces, using relatable examples and real-life scenarios to illustrate their relevance. I prioritize building a strong conceptual understanding while fostering problem-solving skills and data interpretation abilities.
