In this exciting workshop students will learn what affirmations are, why they are important how to create their own and an opportunity to share with friends, The class is interactive and will begin with a live group discussions, followed by a video presentation of affirmations and Instructions on how to create an affirmation poster and an opportunity for group sharing. My teaching style incorporates written material, videos, graphics and student lead discussions. My style is centered on the belief that everyone’s thoughts and opinions have value and can add to our shared knowledge. More than half the class will be dedicated to an open discussion and presentations of our Affirmations. 10 Minutes of class time will be used to give students an opportunity to start on their Affirmation Poster. Objectives: -Identify What an Affirmation is and why it is important in our lives. -Practice speaking in a group setting. -Practice sharing our creations -Developing self-confidence
