Using Waldorf-inspired props and special songs, Ms. Annette will tell the story of The Elves and the Shoemaker. Like all Seasons of Joy Circle Times, we will by reciting a gathering poem, lighting a candle, and singing a hello song. Likewise, we will end with an end-of-circle time song. In between, we will spend time singing, moving and telling this well-known story about helpfulness and kindness.

Class will be fully immersive and interactive, with very little technology outside of the Zoom platform itself.

This will be an interactive storytelling experience, extended with music, early literacy, and creative dramatics. My teaching style for storytime is conversational and friendly, and I love when children bring their own knowledge and experiences to the process.
