Teacher expertise and credentials
With over 20 years of experience teaching private lessons, group classes, and directing bands, Geoff is dedicated to helping students of all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced players, achieve their music-playing goals.

Hi, I'm Geoff! I've been teaching guitar, bass, ukulele, and drums for 25 years, and I absolutely love helping people find their groove.
My musical journey began at age 6, when I first saw AC/DC and Van Halen on stage. I knew right then I had to be a part of that world. Fast forward through a lot of lessons, garage bands, and gigs, and I'm still living and breathing music every day.
In my lessons, I'm all about helping you achieve your musical dreams, no matter what they look like. Whether you're into classic rock legends like AC/DC and Van Halen, grunge icons like Nirvana, metal masters like Metallica, indie favorites like Cage the Elephant, or anything in between - we'll dig into the songs and styles that excite you. Blues, jazz, rock, pop, you name it! We'll master techniques to help you sound your best, and most importantly, have a ton of fun along the way.
Because really, that's what music is all about - the joy, the self-expression, and the awesome feeling of rocking out. And I'm here to help you experience all of that and more.
So, ready to make some serious noise? Let's jam!
