¡La robótica simplificada! para estudiantes jóvenes (Spike Essential - Nivel introductorio)

Each session is full of projects based on Passion, Collaboration with Peers, and a Playful Spirit. It is full of hands-on Memorable, Meaningful, and Motivating activities, specially designed for girls and boys, 7-9 years old.

This class is a discovery class where the only academic requirement is a passion for learning and creating. Nevertheless, students must have the Spike Essential set at home to participate. 

In this online live course, each student will:

- Participate in a class with other children his/her age group (7 - 9), discovering how robotics is a part of their everyday life. 
- Enjoy four hours of personalized project-based instruction. 
- Learn to design, build, create models that will require an engineer's eye using a robotics platform designed for children. 
- Collaborate with small groups (6 students maximum per session) with one adult certified live instructor.

Week  1 (Intro to Robotics Platform)
- Robotics
- Hardware: Put the elements together 
- Software: Control the robot to move the motor, make sounds & show colorful lights

Week  2 (Robots & Coding Platform)
- Robots and adventures
- Coding: Program your robot to help you accomplish a task
- Robotics Challenge: Boat Trip! 

Week Day 3 (Robotics Engineering)
- Engineering Design Process
- Coding: Program your robot to move
- Robotics Challenge: Arctic Ride!

Week Day4 (Wrap up / Combining Behaviors)
- Problem Solving Strategies
- Coding: Program your robot to combine behaviors
- Robotics Challenge: Cave Car! 

The 60 minutes classes are incredibly interactive:
10-minute lecture using videos and slides.
40-minute self-paced creation.
10-minute discussion of achievements.
