- Students will learn how to brainstorm an essay as a first planning step.
- Students will learn a clear method to writing a thesis statement that will be effective for a variety of writing styles and essay / paper lengths.
- Students will learn how to create a clear outline to use when writing any essay / paper.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in English, and held a Professional Teaching Certificate in Florida to teach English in grades 6-12. For the past several years I have taught small group classes on essay writing, including how plan essays.

Frecuencia: incluidoDetalles: Students will be informally assessed through class discussion to ensure student understanding and so I, as the teacher, can adapt the class to student's needs. There is no formal assessment.
This class is designed to support a variety of learning needs. Dyslexic, ADHD, and Autistic learners have had great success in this class. Please reach out if you have specific questions.
Students should be able to write paragraphs independently and have had some experience with essay writing.
