ln this small class, students follow a full year of grade 8 math. 

I help students see themselves as confident and competent mathematicians who are able to apply their math knowledge both in and out of the classroom. 

We focus on building confidence with a mathematical toolkit, conceptual understanding, learning strategies and reasoning skills. 

I am a certified, senior math teacher, dedicated to helping middle school students gain a strong math foundation. 

We follow the Fishtank Learning curriculum (from an extremely successful Massachusetts charter school) which is rigorous and problem-based.  This program has an excellent track record of preparing students for college and beyond.
