We will be meeting twice a week for 8 weeks in order to continue to practice and review and go through the various categories of Greek vocabulary that we have been learning in our previous Greek classes. The material will be posted after class and you can view it during the week at your convenience. Each week for 8 weeks students will be guided through a variety of vocabulary, role-play, games, and songs. This class is to get students familiar with speaking Greek, listening to Greek, recognizing Greek words, and begin writing Greek words and sentences that they will help form with the words that they know! We will practice the vocabulary for things that are in their world so that they are able to relate to their learning while they practice! Students will learn basic vocabulary including conversation starters, numbers, colours, greetings, house items, school things, people and relationships, descriptions for people (tall, short, blonde, brunette), and more. We are focusing on learning and using verbs such as "I run", "I cook", "I play", "I eat", "I drink", "I want", "I have", and so on. We will practice building sentences and focus on using specific words in our sentences each class and each week. In our classes, we continue to review and build on our knowledge of words during each class. We are focusing on learning Greek verbs so that we can talk about things that we do in our daily lives. More verbs being practiced during these 8 weeks will include: "I make", "I give", "I wake up", "I sleep", "I walk", "I run", "I start", "I use", "I believe", "I read", "I write", "I hear", and so much more.

Week 1      Review, continue to learn, and practice forming sentences with the Greek words for city shops and buildings. 

Week 2      Review, continue to learn, and practice forming sentences in Greek about he/she/they/it and what they may be doing or wearing.

Week 3      Review, continue to learn, and practice forming sentences with the location words (here, there, left, right, up, down, in, out) in Greek.

Week 4      Review, continue to learn, and practice forming sentences with the Greek words for the verbs "I make", "I give", "I wake up". 

Week 5      Review, continue to learn, and practice forming sentences with the Greek verb words for emotions like "I'm crying" and "I'm laughing" and talking about things that happen "sometimes", "always", "never" 

Week 6	  Review, continue to learn, and practice forming sentences with Greek descriptive words such as "big", "small", "short", "tall".

Week 7	  Review, continue to learn, and practice forming sentences with Greek words describing our daily routines. 

Week 8	  Review, continue to learn, and practice forming sentences with "I think", "I know", "I am learning", "I'm writing".
