Place Value
Students will know the difference between the ones and tens place and be able to determine the value of a digit based off of the place that it is in. Lección 2:
Proof Drawings
Students will learn how to represent 2-digit numbers using proof drawings. This concept could also be applied to Base 10 Blocks. A stick will represent groups of ten, and an individual unit will be used to represent groups of one. Lección 3:
How Many Ones in a Ten
Students will know that there are 10 ones in a group of ten, and will understand that we can group ten ones together to make a 10. Lección 4:
Subtracting With Proof Drawings
Students will be able to subtract 2-digit numbers with regrouping using proof drawings. We will learn how to break apart a 10 (regroup) using models to represent what is happening when we don't have enough ones to subtract from. Otros detalles
