Have a kid who loves playing around on the piano but not quite sure where to start?  Come try out this one time KiddyKeys class to see if it is right for them!  In this class, students will explore high and low on the piano, learn their piano finger numbers, and discover a steady beat.  Kiddykeys is full of songs to help us remember our new found musical knowledge, stories and games that help emphasize musical content, and worksheets for in class and at home practice.  Class will begin with time for students to socialize with one another.  Then, we will sing a hello song and learn about high and low notes on the piano.  From there, we will play games and sing songs that helps us with our finger numbers and keep a steady beat.  We will end our class with a goodbye song. The class is interactive, fun, and a great way to see if your child is ready to enroll in the Kiddykeys class! No musical experience is necessary for this class.  Note:  while a piano would be very helpful for the topics learned in this class, it is not a necessity to participate in class.

Students will need something to shake, crayons, and the Kiddykeys worksheet available in the Outschool classroom.  A piano is a great addition but not necessary.

Hi everyone!  We are so excited to have Wonderworks Learning and Arts Center join the Outschool community!  Wonderworks is located in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, about 30 minutes away from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  Starting in 2012, we began with a vision of bringing high quality music classes to kids in our very rural area who had very little opportunities for music classes.  In 2019, we added art and tutoring to our listings and have loved seeing our business grow!
Our teachers come from a wide variety of jobs and educational backgrounds, but one thing is required to be a teacher at Wonderworks:  a love for their art form and a love of working with kids!  Our teachers work to inspire the children they teach by meeting them where they are.  No one is ever turned away from our Wonderworks community.
We believe that every human being has the capability to learn and achieve success in their learning, regardless of their individual needs when they start.  Every single student that becomes apart of our community is welcomed with open arms and we will work with them to meet their individual needs.  
Wonderworks is a fun, laughter filled place.  We love to have fun, be silly, and make learning exciting.  We can't wait to see you in class!
