Improvisación para la vida: escuela secundaria

No experience necessary. This class is designed for learners of all levels and interests. Through games and discussions we will cover skills like accepting the ideas of others, active listening, creative thinking, and persuasion with a social-emotional learning lens. 

Each 45 minute session will begin with a group check-in and warm-up game then a main activity based on the focus of the specific class meeting (outlined below). Students are encouraged to have their cameras on for the class session when appropriate. The end of class sessions offer an opportunity for students to discuss how the focus of the class can relate to situations in their own lives. The classroom will be open 5 minutes before the start of class time and will stay open at the end of class for up to 10 minutes to allow for students to connect and continue any conversations.

Classes are 45 minutes twice a week for 4 weeks. Please note that due to the interactive and collaborative nature of our improv lessons this class needs a minimum of 3 learners to run.
