Sesión de improvisación de guitarra

Hi, I'm Emma, and my favorite part of playing guitar is shredding solos jamming with other musicians! Join me in class to learn how to have fun jamming too! Everyone is welcome to come learn about improv and jamming, regardless of playing level. (Please see class pre-requisite)

This class focusses on learning to jam in a blues/rock music setting. Blues is the place to start when it comes to learning to jam for the first time, and yes, this skill translates to all genres of music.

I will play my guitar along with the students, who will take turns soloing. I may also use Youtube backing tracks as teaching tools too! Students are encouraged to find music backing tracks on Youtube that they like to share with the class too. 

In class, I will give students feedback on how they can improve their improv/ jamming skills! 

⭐️What if I haven't tried improvising on guitar playing before?
 If you're totally new to improv, and nervous about trying it out in class for the first time, no worries, beginners are welcome and we are all here to learn together! Making mistakes is a key part of the learning process when it comes to improv, and in rock music, we embrace our mistakes as, 'happy accidents!' Please come to class with a positive attitude and the expectation to make mistakes together as we learn. 😃
