Nivel Beginner - Advanced
In a small group, students will be learning to draw a sunflower with a abstract background on watercolor paper. We will use a combination of tight and loose watercolor painting techniques to create a bright and cheerful painting. Art freedom and fun will be emphasized in a relaxed setting. Lessons will be in a "work with me format" with visual and audio step-by-step instructions. I will show my finished work at the start of class as an example along with the supplies needed to create it. Students will be encouraged to add their creative personal touches to their work. I will encourage students to upload their finished work to the classroom after it dries to share with me and their art friends.

We will be using a cup of water with our watercolor paints. Please make sure all electronics are protected from water spills.
Use only non-toxic, child-safe watercolor paints.

Hello art friends! I'm Ms. Michelle. I'm offering directional and expressive art projects for young learners. I'm a professional artist with my education in Fine Art. I believe whole heartedly in the Montessori philosophy. I owned Montessori schools for years and I've taught art to thousands of preschool and elementary students in person and online.
Art has always been my happy place where I can be myself, share experiences, and enjoy friends. My art classes will help students practice fine motor skills, follow oral and visual instructions, improve art skills, and express themselves through creativity and social classes.
