Curso de Fábulas, Mitos y Cuentos de Hadas (IEH) Primera Parte

In this 15 week class, your learner will learn methods and stylistic techniques through the Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) curriculum for lessons 1-15.  This class is highly interactive during the class time and throughout the week. The learner needs to be able write a simple sentence and read fairly independently.  If you are concerned if your learner is at the proper reading level, please message me and I can send a sample for you to review.  You will need to purchase Fables, Myths and Fairy Tales Writing Lessons Student book.  You will also need The Student Resource Packet which is a free download when you purchase the student book from the Institute for Excellence in Writing website. 


•participate in class by answering review questions
•brainstorm along with classmates 
•complete the assigned homework
•turn in rough drafts to the teacher no later than the day before class either typed or nicely handwritten
•make corrects to rough draft and turn in a final draft

The learner can expect the following from the teacher:
•a detailed syllabus after enrollment 
•feedback and corrections on rough drafts
•response to questions and concerns
•availability for extra help when needed


The class will follow the scope and sequence outlined on page 8 of the student textbook.
