In this 3-day course, we will draw a variety of fun, cute Kawaii animals. The most exciting part is that you, the students, decide which animals we will draw! Here is a suggested list of choices: Cat, dog, hamster, bunny, hedgehog, fox, wolf, monkey, lion, llama, flamingo, squirrel, raccoon, elephant, tiger, sloth, shark, sea turtle, narwhal, dolphin, whale, panda, koala. Please, leave me a note with your favorite animal when you enroll. I will guide the students step-by-step on my digital sketchbook, but the learners only need paper, pencil, and eraser. The pace of drawing will be adjusted based on the experience level of the learners in each camp. We usually are able to draw 3 animals in each class. So, we will draw about 9-10 animals during the entire course. Please, note that this is a sketching class, so we will not be coloring unless we have extra time at the end. Students are encouraged to color their sketches after class and post them on our classroom page. Looking forward to drawing with you!

Hello! I'm Sophia Stafford and I'm excited to share my passion for drawing with your learners!
I teach a variety of drawing classes here on Outschool since March 2020.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Math and an MBA in Marketing. I have lectured undergraduate level Business classes and have tutored students of all ages in Math. Also, I have extensive training and experience in drawing both in traditional and digital media. My professional experience includes graphic and web design, and creating digital marketing materials.
My passion has always been drawing and creative arts. I enjoy helping students learn new things and boost their self-confidence through art. It's very fulfilling when I see my students improving their skills and feeling proud of their accomplishments.
