The first step in career exploration is understanding yourself and your interests. When you know what you're good at and what you love to do, you can choose a career that fits your personality and goals.

This course aims to assist learners in gaining valuable insights into who they are and their strengths and interests through reflective activities, personality assessments, and skill evaluations. The ongoing class is also designed to improve career readiness and provide the necessary tools to help them achieve their future aspirations.

Fall 2024 starts the week of September 1st.

Class Structured:
The teacher introduces the topic, and then the learners engage in a guided experience through prompts and assessments. Learners are encouraged to ask questions. Some weeks, depending on the number of participants, the teacher engages students in group discussions. The teacher encourages learners to record their thoughts and responses in a journal. As a teacher, my role is to facilitate an experience so that learners can learn more about themselves.

Spring will start the week of January 20th.
