Escape rooms and adventures are fun! In this three classes in one week camp, learners will complete a different holiday adventure and escape room each day. Day 1 Holidays Around the World | Escape from the Airplane Students are locked in the airplane until they travel to four countries to learn about how they celebrate Christmas, earning ornaments to decorate the tree. Did you know that decorating the "Tannenbaum" at Christmas time originated in Germany? Or that children in South America often break a colorful, candy and toy filled piñata? Day 2 Christmas Gingerbread House | Help Mrs. Claus Decorate Students will solve four clues to help Mrs. Claus decorate the gingerbread house she baked. After finding the clues, students will click on the gingerbread house to find the hidden candy. They will also spell their names with gingerbread letters. Fun! This class is more of an adventure than a traditional escape room with locks. Students aren't being locked in anywhere. Instead, they are solving four clues to help Mrs. Claus decorate her gingerbread house. Day 3 Help Rudolph Find his Nose Christmas Adventure Students solve four clues and puzzles to help Rudolph find his nose so he can help Santa deliver presents to the boys and girls. This class is more of an adventure than a traditional escape or breakout room with locks. Students aren't being locked in anywhere. Instead, they are solving clues to find Rudolph's nose. These teacher-led lessons follow interactive and animated Google Slides presentations. Clues are answered together in class. Various digital techniques will be used to enhance learning and to help keep the children engaged.

Hello! My name is Sharon, Teacher Sharon. I am both thankful and excited to have this opportunity to help children from all over the world have fun while learning. I love making learning fun!
I have my Masters of Education (MEd) and over 20 years of experience teaching and learning from children of all ages. I have experience as a nursery school director, a Kid's Club supervisor (twice) and a classroom teacher for Pre-K through high school. I have also taught technology, after-school elementary science classes, cupcake decorating, and brick building.
I am very fortunate to have grown up overseas and have lived all over the world. Some of my many passions include creating fun, educational classes, scuba diving, traveling, science, crafting, my precious dog, cat, fish and snails and of course teaching.
I like to keep class sizes small to help learners engage and participate. If your child is interested in any of my classes that are not currently scheduled, or if a different time or day would work better for you, please feel free to contact me.
Learning in my classroom is engaging, energetic, fun, enjoyable, upbeat and entertaining. "Your child won't want to leave at the end of class and will beg to come back for more." (That's my superhero catch phrase.)
NOTE: I am very flexible with class scheduling. If you are interested in one of my classes, but you don't see it listed on a day or time that you want, please find a class that is already listed when you want the class. Send me a message and I will do my best to switch the class that you want with the one that is already listed.
I look forward to helping your child have fun while learning. Have a wonderful day,
~Teacher Sharon🙂
