Voz activa y pasiva - Seminario de escritura creativa

As authors, we need to understand the differences in passive and active voice, as well as their roles in our creative writing projets. 

In this one time seminar class, we will cover each type of voice and explore: 
*exactly what are active and passive voice
*what the strengths of each are, and which one we should be focused on using most often
*how we put them to use in our stories
*how they may be different depending on genre/setting/characters

We will also get time to put each into practice with specialized writing times to practice each type of writing.
In this class learners will be encouraged to share their writing practice following the prompts, as well as offer feedback to one another. This class will be a mix of lecture (with slides), discussion, q&a, practice, and feedback.

Learners do not need any prior knowledge or experience, just a desire to learn and grow in their creative writing skills. This is a one time class that will strengthen each students writing. It is my hope that by taking this class, students gain confidence to know they can share the story they are passionate about.
