Writing Text Evidence Style!
In this 4-week class online I will tutor students with needed help in informational writing. Students will learn revising and editing. Students will practice and understand the mechanics of good writing.

Students will be learning text evidence writing. Lesson 1 Introduction to text evidence writing In Lesson 1 Students will learn how to annotate a non-fiction text using the hashtag method.. Students will understand that annotation is where you are adding notes of a short explanation or comments of each paragraph to help you understand what the author is writing about. Students will learn how to write a text evidence paper. They will learn the mechanics of a great paper and they will understand the difference between a story and text evidence writing.
I am a K-6th grade general education teacher. I am also a Dyslexia therapist. I currently am working in a 5th grade Social Studies classroom where I teach writing to 130+ students weekly.
I am a dyslexia therapist if the child is dyslexic I will be able to help with the writing and help support with sentence stems and spelling checks.
Students should have already been used to writing papers in the classroom. They should know what a paragraph is and how long. They should understand they will be learning text evidence writing completely different than story writing.
