Writing Process, Private Instruction

WRITING PROCESS
Your learner's individualized lesson will be based on the stages of the writing process.  Learners will utilize organization aids to brainstorm, construct a draft and paragraphed written work on a shared screen. Learners will be guided through the pre-writing stage of brainstorm, draft, edit, revise and publish.

The areas of Mechanics and Language will be embedded in the edit and revise stage.  Areas of Mechanics include capitalization, punctuation, spelling and grammar.  Areas of Language include word choice, voice and sentence fluency.  Re-enrolled students will have individualized scaffolded lessons.

The purpose of this writing class is to develop understanding of the five stages of the writing process in a hands-on applicable way.

TUTORING PACKAGES
Your learner will work on the writing process, in depth, through the pre-writing stages (5).  Learners who continue ongoing sessions will progress to lengthen introductions, paragraph body and conclusions.  Learners will be progressed to other types of writing, when demonstrating readiness.  Learners will utilize organization aids while developing their papers.  The organization aids will be provided at enrollment.  Private instruction packages reserve your chosen same day and time.

REQUIREMENTS
In order to develop strong draft construction and edit skills, learners must be experienced spellers and sentence English language writers, ready for the writing process and paragraph development.  Learners will receive instruction with appropriate expectations at their individual level of ability.  

Learners must be able to interact via "remote control" in order to drag/drop and type directly on a shared screen.  Also, One-Time enrolled learners will work directly on a shared screen while Multi-Day learners are required to be prepared and use all provided organization aids.
