Teacher expertise and credentials
I love reading! I enjoy reading all kinds of books and want to teach others the joys of reading!

I teach reading to all ages from Reading Foundational skills, to Fluency, and Comprehension. I have been in education for 15 years. I served as a teacher and tutor in grades K-5, an academic instructional coach for all subjects K-5, and intervention specialist for grades 2-5.

Philosophy of Education: All students can learn given the appropriate environment, and tools. We first learn to read, then read to learn. Teachers should provide tools for students to think and problem solve. After the tools are given the teacher than facilitates learning through questioning.

I love reading and writing and even write my own books!
