Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 5
The course content builds momentum as it progresses with each week, this is significant as with each week of presenting a new Country, the students will have the opportunity to establish a base-line of the Country as presented, with then conducting a summarization of the Country for the week with a trivia that tests the knowledge base, then progresses to week eight (8), with students gather ideas of what Country they would present as a project, recapping what was learnt and why this Country was significant to them.

Each student will be provided with a course syllabus one day prior to the course start date. Course objectives will also be attached which will be aligned with the strategic goals of Out-school’s policy and procedures.

Each student will be provided with handouts at the beginning (first 5 mins) of each class.

Students will learn by engaging in individual as well as group activities. Additionally, students will be required to write 1-2 paragraphs for each Country, which allows for adequate assessment of the students retention of information.

Teacher and students will interact through the designated video chat and messaging during school hours, per Out-School policy.

Each class time is 55-mins, handouts will be provided to each student. Each student will be expected to participate or engage in all classroom activities, such as reading and or answering any questions. Country trivia will be also used for learning as well as creating an end of course project.
