Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 8
Beginner - Advanced Level
Welcome to Mrs. D's Art Room, where it is always a good day when you are learning something new!

Every young artists are versatile, and passionate about art! At a young age, they’re willing to try and ready to learn new things, that is my main intention in creating this class!

In this ongoing class, young artists will share their ideas on topics of the month or week, according to the learner's interests.

I will guide them to use their imagination or show steps with simple instructions to draw some awesome drawings in their sketchbook and learn some new techniques!

They can bring in any mediums they wish to use like I have used alcohol markers to make the drawing in the listing picture, and learn some fun ways to use them.

While learning I will focus on some basic rules or factors of drawing and painting like spacing, proportions, angles, detailing, and the use of different mediums using fun techniques.

* I will message you before the class in the classroom if any special materials are needed for the class!

Explanation of how the class will work:

For the first 5 min: Introduction of me and my young artists

Next 10 to 15 minutes: Understanding the topic and finishing drawing using the learner’s ideas using simple guidelines by my reference artworks.

Next 40-45 minutes: learn to use lots of techniques, textures, and sometimes basic shading following the basics of drawing and painting.

Last 5 min: We will use the last 5 min to finish our project as much as possible. This is the time for any questions or maybe about the next class project and my understanding of what they have learned that day.

I will use a dual-screen so that kids can see me drawing with them throughout the whole class.

The young artist will be encouraged to make their artwork unique and complete their art independently if they are not finished in class. I pace our class based on the student’s abilities, so we will go slower or faster depending on how they are doing. I will extend the class for a couple of minutes whenever possible if the learner is a little behind.

Please note that by the fault, the class shows a 1:1 Private class, but if your learner is interested in joining with a friend, friend, or sibling, you can message me and I will be happy to schedule accordingly.

I am open to the time and day requests!

This can be a private one-on-one or small group class as requested! Every request of your young artist like Pokémon, Anime characters, Disney characters, or simple sketching is welcome! Please message me, about what your learner is more interested in learning!

No experience is needed for this class; learners will follow the directions I give. If this class interests your learner please sign up for the class. I am excited to meet your learner!

Hope to see your young artist in my classes soon!

Hello and Welcome Outschoolars! I’m Mrs.D. ! I appreciate you considering me to be a part of your young artist's art journey!

I teach various art classes that involve color theories, color wheels, and color schemes that work together to create human figures, landscaping, and canvas painting with easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions. I love to teach different styles and techniques of art using Art Theory.

I am an artist by profession. I have a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. I have participated in many art exhibitions in my public art center and library and taught art, crafts, and card making in elementary schools and Girl Scouts as a volunteer. I love to share art with my community.

I have been teaching 1:1 art classes online and in person for the last 5 years to ages 4 to 14 years. I have instructed children online all around the world, and continue to teach local classes and workshops in my community. I am so happy to continue what I am doing on a bigger and better platform from the comfort of my home.

I like to teach Art Theory in most of my projects so kids will learn multiple things without even realizing it. I believe all students can learn, and art is the best way to express yourself and your feelings in your unique way.

Art helps to improve hand and eye coordination. It also helps to grow your concentration and patience. Sometimes young minds can't express themselves through talking, but through drawing. I love connecting with students through art and helping them grow, laugh, and have some fun!

Class Expectation: Everyone works at different speeds. If the child is not finished with the piece by the end of class, they can finish the remaining picture at home and post it in the classroom.

Join me on this incredible adventure to take your child’s passion to the next level.

Thank you for visiting my profile! I’m looking forward to being a part of your child's art journey, growth, and success; can’t wait to see you in class!
