This is a non-practical weekly science lesson, where learners can join at any time.  The class is for teens aged 12-16, while the content is from work traditionally set in the UK across grades 4-7. This means it is suited for teens who are working at grade levels below their age, or have not yet covered a lot of science curriculum.

🌈I am passionate about helping teens strengthen core skills to succeed. This can often mean applying the content and skills often covered in lower-grade levels, allowing teens to develop skills and confidence by meeting them where they are.

🌈I focus on building confidence and foundational skills in a nurturing and empowering environment. I help teens master core concepts, overcome academic challenges, and develop a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.

Each lesson will explore a core scientific area, covering the theory and learnings that are elementary age-appropriate. This is not a practical session, and learners won't need any equipment. These lessons allow our teens to gain science knowledge and an understanding of the world.

I will provide direct instruction from a fun and engaging slide deck. There may also be supporting videos shared. Learners are free to ask questions and join in with discussion in the chat box or on video. There is no pressure to contribute.

I am a very supportive teacher, and work to create an atmosphere of bravery and giving things a try. No one is put under pressure. Cameras can be off if needed.

📎This class will not be canceled for low-enrollment. I teach all classes, even if only 1 learner is enrolled. If your learner does not like to go ahead with 1-to-1 classes, please let me know.📎

Each week can stand alone.
