I am a professional historian and researcher with specializations in cultural and music history, European history, and Antiquities. My specialties are the late Hellenistic period, European Medievalism, and pre-modern civilizations. I am fascinated by ALL things history, but pre-Roman civilizations and European medieval kingdoms hold a special place in my heart.
A one-page handout will be available in the classroom prior to class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
All of the landmarks we will visit in this class are catalogued in the UNESCO World Heritage List as cultural, natural, or mixed (cultural and natural) sites. UNESCO (The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) is an agency within the United Nations that is dedicated to "promoting world peace and security through international cooperation in education, arts, sciences and culture."
