Drawing the World: A Weekly Drawing Class for World Travelers
Class Experience
In this ongoing drawing class students will travel to a new world landmark every week where we will learn about the history and creation of each amazing location. As students learn about each sight, we will begin to sketch, and practice new drawing techniques to capture the landmark on paper. Each artist will be encouraged to use their own creative style, as well as practice different drawing methods with each wonderful place we explore. - In these lessons, artists/explorers will learn about the creation and history of each amazing landmark we explore. We will practice new drawing techniques which help each artist to capture their own creative interpretation of each location. Students will learn different pencil shading techniques, as well as how to drawing buildings using perspective.
Artists will need a sketchbook, as well as drawing materials like a set of artist pencils, erasers, sharpeners, and pencil crayons (colouring pencils).
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
