Class Experience
Beginner Level
I like to start with the basics. Anatomy of the guitar, the string names, the notes on the neck and some basic chord shapes. How to hold the guitar and basic rhythm. I will be working with them, one on one, to help with any questions or difficulties they may have. The lessons will be based on their individual skill level and needs. I am very encouraging and patient with my students and want to make learning the guitar fun.
Learning Goals
Basic learning goals are: Knowing the guitar and its parts. Names of the strings and notes. Chords and scales. Basic theory. Learning to play basic rhythm and how to play with other people. Lessons can be ongoing with the pace of the student.Other Details

I have been playing guitar for over 30 years and I am a graduate with Honors from the Musicians Institute. Within that time I've played in several live bands, written and recorded music and played as a solo artist as well.
