In this 7 week course students will virtually travel to the 7 Wonders of the Natural World and then engage in a writing activity.
Class experience
US Grade 3 - 6
Over the course of 7 classes, we will travel to the 7 Natural Wonders of the World. Through a pre-recorded video we will virtually travel to our destination. We will see and learn all about that particular Natural Wonder of the World. Afterward, students can engage with me through the classroom by asking additional questions, making comments, and even sharing their experiences (if they have visited or are planning to visit one of the natural wonders)! Students will have the opportunity to learn about natural wonders. This is an opportunity to learn about each natural wonder. Students should be able to name the 7 natural wonders and interesting information about each one.
Homework Offered
Part of the course is engaging in a writing activity. Students should spend 15-30 minutes responding to the prompt. They can then submit their response. I will provide feedback based on strengths I notice and one area I think they could improve on or would add to the content. This assignment will not be graded.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
