This Is the Write Class: Learn All of the Components of a 5 Paragraph Essay
In this 2-week course, students will learn the components of an exemplary 5 paragraph essay.
This is a two-week course, and students will be involved in a lecture five days each week. During this 45-minute class, there will be 30 minutes of lecture/instruction and 15 minutes of writing. Students will practice the presented concept at the end of each in-class meeting for days 2-7. A final independent essay will be completed for this course. Students will learn how to write an exemplary 5-paragraph essay that includes: a strong introduction, three detailed body paragraphs, and an exceptional conclusion. The learner will create an essay that they would be proud to share with others.
0I will use a PowerPoint method for the lecture portion of this class. If you would like, I will send the slides that you could print after each session.
I will use PowerPoint material from reputable websites. I will present the material during the in-class sessions.
