Welcome to this small group third grade math class! I love to teach in an engaging and patient manner, so students will feel confident about their math skills! This is a two day class, two classes in one week! Day 1: Students will learn how to multiply two digit and three digit numbers! Day 2: Students will learn how to multiply two and three digit numbers with decimals! Students will also learn about decimal place value: the tenths, hundredths, and thousandths place! Class experience: Each day, students will listen as I model how to solve questions! I will teach using a white board and marker, and students are welcome to copy onto their pencil and paper! Then, we will solve multiplication questions together, on the zoom white board! I will prompt students to remind them of the next steps! Next, students will have an opportunity to solve questions independently, with their pencil and paper! Last, we will discuss and review their answers! I will re-teach as needed throughout class! Please bring paper and pencil to class! Please message me through Outschool with any questions! Please also message to share your availability if you would like to enroll at a certain time!
