My name is Shaunita Grase, and I'm passionate about empowering students to thrive in any learning environment. With 12 years of experience teaching online at both the post-secondary and secondary levels, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the virtual classroom.

In addition to my college degrees, I am a Certified Public Manager, Certified Personal Trainer (Certificate Number 1241168603) and Certified Nutrition Coach (Certificate Number1241219098) through the National Association of Sports Medicine.

As a certified special education teacher, I specialize in literacy, gifted education, and behavior management. This background allows me to tailor instruction to individual needs and create a supportive learning atmosphere for all students. I currently serve as the behavior coach for my school district, and I have experience as a behavior therapist, further solidifying my commitment to student success.

I believe every learner deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. My philosophy centers around individualized instruction, celebrating growth of all sizes, and providing the right support systems to help students blossom. My role extends beyond academics; I strive to equip students with self-awareness strategies and practical skills for success both in the classroom and beyond.

My passion for working with young people extends beyond the classroom. I'm an assistant basketball coach, finding joy in connecting with students in different settings. My diverse background also includes 17 years of experience as a law enforcement officer and my previous role teaching college-level criminal justice courses online.

My interests are as multifaceted as my experience. I'm enthusiastic about social media content design, health and wellness, and leadership development. I'm eager to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with you and your learner!
