1.Section Your Hair to have an organize foundation . This makes the process easier and more manageable. 2.Detangle from Ends to Roots: Begin detangling at the ends of your hair rather than the roots. Gently work your way up towards the roots as the knots loosen. Use a wide-tooth comb or detangling brush for this step. 3.Be Gentle: Avoid pulling or yanking on knots, as this can cause breakage and damage. Instead, work through each knot slowly and patiently. Prepare the Area: Place a towel around the nape of the mannequin head to catch any water that drips down. Position the Mannequin Head: Place the mannequin head securely in a sink or basin. Ensure it's stable and won't move around during washing. Wet the Hair: Use lukewarm water to thoroughly wet the hair on the mannequin head. This helps to loosen any dirt or product buildup. Apply Clarifying Shampoo: Take a small amount of clarifying shampoo and lather it between your palms. Gently apply the shampoo to the hair on the mannequin head, focusing on the scalp and roots. Massage the shampoo into the hair and scalp using your fingertips. Be gentle to avoid tangling the hair excessively. Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse the hair thoroughly with lukewarm water until the water runs clear and all shampoo is removed. Pay attention to the back of the head and the nape area to ensure all shampoo residues are washed out. Follow up with a moisturizing shampoo . If the hair on the mannequin head is synthetic or needs conditioning, apply a small amount of conditioner from mid-lengths to ends. Leave it on for a few minutes according to the product instructions, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Detangle (if needed): After rinsing out the conditioner, gently detangle the hair using a wide-tooth comb or detangling brush. Start from the ends and work your way up to the roots. Final Rinse: Rinse the hair once more with cool water to help close the hair cuticles and add shine. Towel Dry: Gently pat the hair with a towel to remove excess water. Avoid rubbing vigorously, as this can cause tangles or damage. Air Dry or Style: Allow the hair on the mannequin head to air dry naturally or style it as desired using heat tools if applicable.
