In this 12-week private course, we discover all about oceans. We will learn what makes each ocean unique and the wonderful world underwater. From the history of ocean exploration, oceanography, currents, and tides, to ocean environments like coral reefs and mangroves. We will learn about encrustations, mollusks, fish, reptiles, mammals, currents and tides, ocean conservation, and more! Week 1 - Overview and introduction to Oceans Week 2 - History of Ocean Exploration Week 3 - Oceanography Week 4 - Ocean habitats such as mangroves, coral reefs, kelp forests, tide pools, and glaciers Week 5 - Ocean habitats continues Week 6 - Currents and tides Week 7 - Ocean animals, invertebrates, encrustations, and mollusks Week 8 - Ocean Reptiles Week 9 - Ocean mammals Week 10 -Fish Week 11 - Ocean Conservation Week 12 - Review My classes are inclusive to all Learners (including neurodiverse and ESL and LGBTQ+ Learners) and allow Learners to ask questions, cultivate discussions, and share experiences with each other to learn together and of course, have fun!! My teaching style is energetic, interactive, engaging, and always supportive. ** I hold a Degree in Communication & Culture. While obtaining my Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Culture, I studied and researched communities and their use of culture as an expression to communicate with others. I am TESOL and TEFL certified (Teaching English as a Second Language). I have over 7 years of experience as an Online Educator. I am a world traveler who has been privileged to have lived and traveled in many different countries across the world. I am very excited to share my knowledge with your Learner through this course!
