Description
Class Experience
Students will have learned the following different types of 3 Note Chords in keyboarding: Major Minor Diminished Augmented Suspension Chords With practice students should be able to identify, theorize and play chords and apply this knowledge to songwriting or learning a chord progression to a popular song.
Homework will be routine practice of chord study on the keyboard.
Alphabet Letters A to Z - can be Magnetic Letters, Wooden Letters or Blocks Pencil Paper Crayons, Colored Pencils or Markers
2 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
During class learners may practice music theory (note reading, note values, rhythmic dictation, key recognition, etc.) using the following online resources used as activities or presentations led by the Instructor IN CLASS ONLY: www.musictheory.net, musictechteacher.com, boomlearning.com, Canva, You Tube, Pinterest. Instructor may attach assigned worksheets for learners to complete from purchased books from the Instructor's library or materials from the following websites: Pinterest or teacherspayteachers.com
