In this 5 week class, we will take a deep dive into the Revolutionary War. We will start shortly after the French & Indian War, we will look at the events and causes of the war, and then we will examine many of the major and some minor battles and events that occurred during the War for American Independence. In this 5 week class, students will develop an understanding as to the events leading up to the beginning of the Revolutionary War, as well as the battles and events, and the conclusion of the war.
I have my BA in Social Studies Education and my Masters of Business Administration, and 3 years teaching social studies classes at various middle school & high school levels. Additionally, I have a huge passion for Ancient History, Archaeology, Exploration, Geology, and Aerospace Science which helps me fuel my drive to pass on knowledge and an appreciation of these topics to students. I also, have a passion for American History, including the Revolution & Expansion, as well as the wars and conflicts that the United States has been involved in during it's history.
Homework Offered
There will be no official homework for the class, however the teacher will post a few small assignments that will be used to hopefully spur student participation and discussion.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
